摘要

This paper studies various types of PVD coatings from industrial production to the aim to estimate the corrosion resistance in the atmospheres simulating moulding of polymeric materials. A careful microstructural characterisation of the coatings has been obtained on steel substrates and copper alloys and the porosity has been estimated by means of electrochemical techniques. The corrosion resistance has been evaluated is by using electrochemical techniques in immersion in electrolytes and through the exposure to aggressive vapours. To the final aim of the experimental activity is obtaining important indications for the choice of the better coatings for the specific application.
