摘要

A coupled hydro-bio-geo-chemical numerical formulation is presented which accounts simultaneously for groundwater flow, solute transport, chemical and biological processes. It has been applied to modelling the Redox Zone Experiment performed at the Aespoe Hard Rock Laboratory in Sweden. Model results tend to confirm the role of microbially mediated sulfur organic matter oxidation.
