Distributed integrated control system architecture for microgrids

Microgrids are small scale power grid that can operate independently or connected to the main electrical grid. A good organization of microgrids, energy balance, reliable communication and so on depend on control capabilities adopted in each node of the microgrid such as producers, consumers and so on. Control center is the intelligent core of microgrid; it is based on information and communication technologies for energy prediction, data storage, sending and receiving commands to and from different points and other features. This paper aims at presenting an integrated distributed control system for microgrids which is based on peer to peer architecture with focus on big data management and request processing. We detail especially some components of our system which concern data flow and communication between different nodes.
