摘要

There are two types of tests, tensile test and loop test, to measure the strength of fibers (monofilaments), which are commonly used for fiber-reinforced plastics (FRPs). Owing to a difference of gage lengths, we had difficulty comparing both results by means of these tests. In this paper, we tried to make a comparison between strengths in terms of the same gage lengths, which were converted by Modified Weibull theory. Also, we conducted a simulation for the loop test.
