KOREAN INDUSTRIAL STANDARD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LIGHT-FRAME WOOD BUILDINGS

摘要

Light-frame wood construction has been a standard method for construction of residential and commercial wood buildings ip Korea. However, there has been no national standard or building code regulating or defining this construction method in Korea so far. Therefore, this Korean Industrial Standard(KS F 9002) has been formulated to define standard method of light-frame wood construction to be followed in Korea. Even though this standard contains only fractions of light-frame wood construction technology, we expect that this would be improved in the near future and a building code regulating the whole process of light-frame wood construction including design would be developed based on this standard.
