摘要

Support structure system of air cooled condenser is a typical steel-concrete vertical hybrid structure, whose stiffness and mass is non-uniform along vertical direction. Under seismic action,earthquake response of the structure is complex. Up till now, air-cooled plant design market was occupied by foreign companies. There were no comprehensive studies on the seismic behavior of this type of structure in domestic and abroad. According to the dynamic characteristic of this kind of structures, a model with 1:8 scaling factor was made, pseudo-dynamics test was carried out. Damage forms and failure mechanism, deformation and energy dissipation capacity of the structure were studied in this paper. This research may help us understand this sort of vertical hybrid tructure's force transmission mechanism, and the research productions can accelerate the advancement of domestic design.
