摘要

This second paper presents a modeling study performed to validate a chemical mechanism revealed by an experimental work (see the companion paper) which described the main steps of formation and destruction of nitrogen oxides during CFB coal combustion. This model includes the chemical mechanism and the corresponding kinetic parameters deduced from laboratory measurements and a char combustion model. It uses measured flow characteristics and temperature profiles. It has been tested on several stable operating periods covering various fuels burned in the 250 MWe Provence CFB unit. Computed results are compared with concentrations measured at the stack. A sensitivity analysis on model parameters and measured characteristics complete the validation of the chemical mechanism.
