Grid Makes eLife Possible

摘要

This paper proceeds as follows: Firstly, I present an overview of Internet and computing history. Next I will explain Grid computing, programming model, security infrastructure, Globus, Web services architecture and the use of XML Web services for Grid computing. Finally I will describe OGSA, Grid-based Web services proposed architecture, Semantic Grid-based Web services and my future work.
