Research on improved manufacturing of thin wire by cold-rolling

Production of thin wire from cast material is usually a combination of cold rolling and wiredrawing, with intermediate annealing phases. This paper outlines the results of an investigation into the target substitution of the drawing process and reduced annealing cycles by cold rolling, with increased productivity and product quality.
