107 adhesive is PVF(Polyvinyl formal) one.It has a series of advantages of cheap price,easy production,convenient use,no poison and no environmental polluction,is used widely in the field of wood,paper,textile, leather and building material and so on.But it is poorer in water-resistance, heat-resistance and bonding strength. Many years, people have suggested many modified methods to it, these ones can improve its properties in a way, but the result is not enough satisfied. We suggest the method of it modified by nano silica based on making investigations on nanometer materials for many years, make modified 107 adhesive (nanometer adhesive) of good bonding properties and discuss modified mechanism of nano silica.
