The development of chemometric methods of multicomponent analysis has allowed the resolution of the complex spectra of mixtures of analytes. The Partial Least Squares (PLS) method is a generalized method used to build a predictive model between two blocks of variables: the C-block of predictor variables and the D-block of response variables. The PLS regression has been extensively used in equilibrium methods but they have been scarcely applied to kinetic analysis. This paper reports an approach to multicomponent kinetic determinations using no spectral discrimination but only the full time scale kinetic data. The proposed method was applied to real spectra for the Co-PAR, Cu-PAR and Ni-PAR complexes.
