Intercomparison of local temperature scales with transfer radiation thermometers between - 50°C and 300°C

The project "Traceability in infrared radiation thermometry from -50 °C to 800 °C" (TRIRAT) was started in 1996 with one of the objectives to improve, on an international level, the uncertainty associated with the realisatidn of the temperature scale for radiation thermometry below the Ag-point. Next to a review of the TRIRAT program, we report on the transfer-standards being employed for the low-temperature regime intercomparison.
