In this study, the face tracker system of a humanoid, ISAC (Intelligent Soft Arm Control), is integrated with a system for focalizing humans in order to direct ISAC's attention, The sound source localization system is used to provide the face tracker system with candidate regions for finding a face. The sound source localizer is also used to correct the face tracker when it fails tracking a face. Experiments conducted verified that the integrated system provides about 35% improvement in human tracking compared to the face tracker system alone.
