Requirements issues abound in system development despite many models and methods intended to verify that requirements are complete. Function Point Analysis, used primarily to measure the functional size of software, is a useful,.structured review method for checking the completeness of the functional user requirements. By using function point analysis to check for requirements completeness, FPA delivers more than mere Function Point numbers of software size - the FPA documentation reflects the full, known set of functional user requirements.
