摘要

The high performance AMC bricks nave better corrosion, errosion and thermal spalling resistance. Rotary slag corrosion test and oxidation test have shown more corrosion and oxidation resistance of the developed AMC bricks in comparision to conventional brick. Field trials of developed AMC bricks in 140, 170 and 220 ton ladles has given more than one and half time life than conventional quality. Al_2O_3-MgO-C bricks can be considered as good lining material for metal zone, bottom and impact pad of LRF. Zone lining of Al_2O_3-MgO-C with MgO-C brick has shown uniform wearout in actual application.
