M-pi: A Mobile Agent Calculus with Module Description

In this paper, we propose M-pi calculus - an extension of π-calculus - which is a more suitable calculus for distributed systems. The purpose of this extension is that π-calculus can actually be used as a programming language or a specification language where the concepts of component ware or classes in object-oriented programming can be realized. M-pi calculus is the calculus with join, separate and call function of a required module. Since this calculus is effective for distributed systems, we propose and implement a development framework of distributed systems based on this calculus. In this framework, a module is implemented as a component by Java. This framework is used as middle ware for building systems.
