STUDY ON A NEW POLY-RDX BOOSTER EXPLOSIVES

摘要

Using fluorocarbon resin F24 as binder combined with the technology of main explosives particle gradation, a new PBX booster explosive based on RDX was prepared. Results of performance tests indicate that the new formula has appropriate features of safety, shock sensitivity, energy and molding. It can be used in the future fuzes as booster or lead charge. Furthermore, it can be also used in blasting engineering because of its cheap cost.
