摘要

The general equation of self-heat rate expressed by fractional degree of conversion for solid energetic materials is given in this paper. Two types of thermal decomposition (TD) type and autocatalytic decomposition (AC) type are discussed respectively. The expression of time to maximum self-heat rate and initial exothermic temperature are presented. The effects of thermal inertia factor on maximum temperature rise, initial exothermic temperature and time to maximum self-heat rate are discussed. The method of determination for heat of capacity is also given. An example of evaluating thermal stability are tested and simulated under both Heat-Wait-Search mode and Isothermal mode.
