In conclusion, we fabricated an electrooptic traveling phase grating using slant-stripe-type periodic domain inversion and experimentally demonstrated its application to ultrafast unidirectional deflection at a high repetition rate of 16.25 GHz.Moreover, it is possible to generate ultrashort optical pulses from these deflected optical beams.
