Global Brain and The Internet

摘要

This paper presents an interdisciplinary study about the Internet and its socio-psychological implications. Challenges and opportunities of the globalization accelerated by the Internet are approached from systematic and socio-psychological points of view. The similarities between the development of human's embryonic brain with the development of Internet indicate that we are creating a global brain by the Internet, and the outcome to our humanity of this global brain is far from certain.
