Efficient Furnace Wall Design with 4th Generation Stave

Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) developed 4th generation stave (wall brick cast-in type) which is capable of maintaining smooth wall profile over one campaign. Since 1985, NSC has been attaining stable and high production with low fuel ratio by adopting 4th generation stave. We will introduce our concept of furnace wall design and operation result.
