Keynote address; the rols of condition monitoring in supply chain effectiveness

The reasons why condition monitoring is not used as effectively as it should be, particularly in a supply chain context. are explored. One reason identified is that new processes and systems are needed and leadership is required to develop and install them. Reasons why people don't "see" and work on systems are identified. The new values, behaviors, organizational structures required to take full advantage of condition monitoring are described, and the new processes and systems consistent with higher use of condition monitoring are defined.
