Over the past decade, distributed computing necessitated a cetralized support environemtn at most colleges and universities. This development thas given campus computers users the distinct impression they can contact one group to receive support on a myriad of computing problems: e-mail, printing, productivity and publishing tools, and more. The typical comupter user on most cooege and university campuses is at least aware of, if not actively utilizing, the cetral support organization. Typically, this support has not extended t University business applications.
