A new concept of sealing structure - regeneration-labyrinth sealing (abbr. RLS) has been put forward to substitute for sealing rings of cryocoolers with displacers. The new structure has been employed to the G-M refrigerators with the cold regenerator outside and inside the displacer, respectively. The results of experiments illustrate that the sealing effects are effective, and the cooling temperature of the 2nd stage of G-M refrigerator reaches 3.70 K, which marks the success of applying the RLS to G-M refrigerator.
