Length of gas buffer in pulse tube of PTR

摘要

Pulse tube in PTR system has two functions, the thermodynamic aspects and the dynamic aspects. On thermodynamic side, pulse tube help to make refrigeration cycle. On other side, dynamic aspects of pulse tube decide the processes in the PTR system and influence in turn on thermodynamic aspects. Based on concept of virtual piston, a computing model has been proposed to investigate the displacement of gas in pulse tube of a PTR system. The paper shows computational results.
