Efficiency study of a nitrogen-mixed gas cascade for cooling the current leads

摘要

The paper contains the description and analysis of two systems for cooling of a resistive HTSC-fault current limiter (FCL) based on a nitrogen- mixed gas cascade refrigerator. The power consumption of the systems depending on the electric current is calculated. The calculation results are discussed.
