Bandra Worli Sea Link Project Connecting Island and Suburbs of Mumbai, India

The Sea Link is a 3.9km eight-lane twin concrete box bridge. The central concrete-cable-stayed structure has a single 158m tower with stayed spans of 250m each and continuous side spans of 50m. This paper discusses the design philosophies and methodologies, key features, and construction techniques of this unique structure.
