Truss gusset plates in connections supporting one end of a 178 foot suspended deck truss span buckled allowing vertical and diagonal truss member ends to drop and move laterally.Emergency repairs supported and realigned the members at the point of failure 80 feet above the river for replacement of the damaged members.
