St.Croix Bridge - concrete alternate

摘要

This paper describes the design of a proposed concrete box girder bridge crossing the St.Croix River near Stillwater,kMinnesota.The concrete design is an alternate to a steel plate girder design.The concrete alternate was designed by HDR Engineering in association with Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH) for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT).The project is a cooperative effert between Mn/DOT and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.Both alternates are paired with a prestressed concrete girder approach bridge on the Minnesota side.
