摘要

Testing is the most expensive phase of the software development lifecycle. This paper proposes a generic object-oriented framework to organize and maintain test scripts. The framework is then applied to develp a specific test framework for testing a real-time safety-critical embedded application at an industrial site. The results showed that the test framework reduced the testing effort significantly, and all the objects identified in the framework were reused in some ways.
