Bandwidth Issues With ATM Technology

INternet computing is heavily dependent on the application works e.g. in multimedia, GroupWare, C/S computing etc. To meet the good quality of the applications in use, comparative bandwidths are required. Corresponding advances in communication technologies like 100BASE-T, B-ISDN/ATM and ISLAN16-T are continued to effect the progress for greater information portability in a tight delay stint. Among these high-speed technologies, Asynchronous Transmission Mode (ATM) is emerging with the challenges to meet-out the on-demand bandwidth requirements and employing its technical features for the guaranteed Quality of Services (QoS).
