Biocompatible polymers for medical application

摘要

The principal ways of creating biocompatible, biodegradable and hemocompatible polymers for application in medicine have been considered. The conditions determining biocompatibility, regeneration of the natural tissues after polymer implantation and role of the polymer micro- and macrostructure in hemocompatibility are discussed.
