Defending Against Evolving DDoS Attacks: A Case Study Using Link Flooding Incidents (Transcript of Discussion)

In this presentation I'll talk about the evolution of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks and, of course, the evolution of the adversary who launches them, and finally how to defend against them. This is based on joint work with my graduate student Min Suk Kang and my colleague Vyas Sekar at Carnegie Mellon University.
