The results of low strain integrity tests are usually presented either in the time domain or in the frequency domain. The information presented in either form is essentially the same, however, the two methods of display can highlight different aspects of the response. An alternative method of display in the time-frequency domain is presented. This form of presentation derives from the mathematical concept of wavelets. The time-frequency display does not present new information, but is an interesting alternative to the time domain and frequency domain, which can enhance the user's understanding and interpretation of the pile-top response.
