DISTINGUISHING PHOTOGRAPH AND PICTURE BASED ON FRACTAL FEATURE

摘要

The classification of images based on image types will definitely aid in reducing the amount of image matching for image search. A fractal feature is proposed to distinguish image type without any prior knowledge of image content. The preliminary experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed method gives a good classification result.
