The added value of a user inspectorate in a gas transmission company

N.V.Nederlandse Gasunie's user Inspectorate is accredited for the construction phase and operational phase of pressurised equipment, based on EN 45004. The User Inspectorate covers all aspects of pressure containment, including pressure safety, materials, integrity and welding, with respect to pipelines, stations and installations on behalf of N.V.Nederlandse Gasunie, from engineering and construction verification to in-service inspection. N.V.Nederlandse Gasunie's internal inspectorate is an equal partner with other inspection institutions (notified bodies) operating in these areas. It also means that verification and inspection procedures (inspection methods, inspection frequency etc.) can be applied much more uniformly within N.V.Nederlandse Gasunie.
