Developing alternative fuel vehicles and achieving the sustainable development of urban transportation

摘要

Out-starting from the definition of the sustainable development of urban transportation. This paper puts forward that developing alternation fuel vehicles (AFV) is a basic way to solve urban traffic pollution problem. It also points out that the development of alternative fuel vehicle is fit for the requirement of the sustainable development of urban transportation. The paper also analyzes the situations of developing alternative fuel vehicles in Beijing, and gives some suggestions at the last.
