摘要

The simulation of the ploymer extrusion processing of a plane and an axisymmetric die, together with predication of extrudate swell of viscoelastic fluid has been presented in this paper. Numerical studies of extrudate swell have dealt with a streamline element scheme (S. E. S) proposed by Luo-Tanner. The S. E. S is developed by Fan Yu-Yun, Based on the balance of mass theory, an essential progress has been made upon the boundary-location method by this paper. In the method, boundary shap and position of each node on free surface is determined simultaneously. This Scheme Converges more rapidly and Smoothly.
