On the newly established graduate school of information science and technology of the university of Tokyo

Towards restructuring Information Science and Technology education and research in the University of Tokyo, the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology has been newly established since April 2001. This article describes this new graduate school to explain our plan for computer science education and research for the Information Technology era.
