Cement plants are, in fact, one of the largest consumers of electricity and are representative of the trend in Italian industrial production.Italcementi, the first producer of cement in Italy and Europe and one of largest in the world, attaches great importance to the energy of all kinds required in the production of cement.The purpose of this document is to demonstrate the importance which the Italcementi Group in general, and Italcementi Italia in particular, attaches to satisfy the electricity requirements for its own cement plants. Today Italcementi Italia is the thirdlargest private producer of electricity in Italy.
