An implementation model of real time CORBA for internet applications

摘要

CORBA has developed rapidly and been taken into use in many fields of industry and commerce. But the growing use of distributed application with time sensitive requirements (such as distributed multimedia application) has created the need for areal time CORBA system. In this paper, an implementation model of a real time CORBA system has been proposed, which uses the integrated service model and RSVP to reserve network resource to maintain end-to-end QoS enforcement. Since this real time CORBAmodel is implemented on TCP/IP protocols, it is suitable for distributed applications on Internet.
