This unique technology is used to recyclechromium-bearing waste from electroplating processes,converting it into a 69 percent sodium bichromate solutions(Na2 Cr2 07, 2H20). A large variety of solid and liquidchromium-bearing waste can be recycled, regardless of theirconcentration. This is a chemical and thermal-based technology.Its major processes include drying, calcination, oxidation,filtration, purification and evaporation. The end product ismainly used in the manufacturing of chromic acid and pigmentsfor industrial paints. It is also used in the leather tanning, metalfinishing and wood preservative industries.
