摘要

The RCCV is comprised of a reinforced concrete structure and stell liner plate attached to its inner side. Many conditions were taken into account in the design to resist seismic load, pressure load, to shield radiation and to assure non-leakage. But the formation of minute cracks is inevitable and a change in property of the concrete is anticipated. So it is interesting and significant to observe and investigate the concrete condition to perfectly confirm its nature in service. The monitoring by measuring crack pattern and depth on the surface of the concrete and compressive strength and elastic modulus of concrete at the actual RCCV was carried out three times so far.
