Application of Fuzzy Logic for Fault Isolation in a Three-Tank System

摘要

Problem of fault isolation has been considered with help of an example of a threetank system. Faults of instruments, actuators and components have been taken into account. Fuzzy logic has been applied for diagnosis formulation. Two cases ofconclusion have been considered: with two-value and three-value residuals evaluation. Advantages of diagnosing with fuzzy, multi-value residuals evaluation have been ascertained.
