Avoiding CMM~circleR Appraisal Test Anxiety

摘要

Extreme pressure to get a rating has caused problems in many process improvement efforts. The reaction of employees that have gone through strongly audit oriented appraisals is quite similar to what educators call "test anxiety". The impact on process improvement can be as negative as in the classroom. There is an alternative. this paper looks at a new method of achieving the process improvement objectives of an appraisal in a different manner.
