Deformation modelling of single crystal turbine blade materials

摘要

This paper presents comparisons of the deformation behaviour, with particular reference to the yield responses, predicted by the phenomenological and crystallographic models developed for single crystal materials. It is found that the yield function used in the different models have a significant influence on the orientation dependent anisotropic inelastic deformation behaviour predicted by the constitutive models. The comparisons indicated that the differences between the two models are attributed to the intrinsic characteristics of the two different categories of constitutive models.
