On the eduction of the real geometry of mechanical parts through the tolerancing and the tridimensional metrology

The aim of the paper is to present our experience of th eeductation of tolerancing in University.The learning of tolerancing must give means to correctly read and understand standardised specifications,adn must show how tolerancing allows to control the real geometry of the part surfaces in order to respect functional requirements.This approach is illustrated through a real case.
