Simulation software environment is a kind of system software between the computer operating system and user's simulation test programs. It should have the ability of problem-Oriented non-process modeling and interact simulation test managing, the mechanism of controlling the simulation test running, the ability of analyzing and displaying simulation results and the ability of creating documents. This paper presents in detail a software environment used for real-time simulation on the general-purpose computer. Its system conflguration, the functions of all parts, the language and the interaction characteristics, the ability of I/O and transplantation are included in this paper.
