摘要

The two-phase fluctuation velocity correlation in sudden expansion gas-particle flows was measured by PDPA (Phase Doppler Particle Anemometer). The axial, radial mean and fluctuation velocities of gas and three particle size groups (30, 50 and 95mm) with 10mm width were presented. The two-phase fluctuation velocity correlation of 30 and 50mm particles were obtained. The two-phase velocity correlation in sudden-expansion flows has some different features to those of jets and mixing layers, reported in references, and the results are explained using the theoretical expression proposed by the authors.
