摘要

The results of a work on the effect of the utilization of the optical microscopy on quality control process optimization that include Raw Mix Grinding, Homogenization System, Kiln and Cement Grinding, to improve the quality of final product and more are presented. The study shows the work development at the Torreon Plant in the last five years. During these years, the challenge was to convert the Torreon plant to use any type of fuel instead of fuel oil or gas in order to survive in a very highly competitive environment that affect production cost, marketing and increase the level of quality of the final product. The use of opticol microscopy has improved the use of new technology and other types of fuel resources; it has also permitted to avoid losses of energy and mistakes in the quality of cement and clinker production.
